Ready to Go - Day ONE!

The clock just slipped past midnight and so we are officially into Day 1 of our Earthquake Relief trip to Haiti. The team is all here at our house in CT, the donations and supplies are all packed, and some of the team are trying to rest a bit before our 3am departure. People were bringing stuff right up until our bags were full, and we have all we can carry. That's a really good thing!

Thanks to so many for help, prayers, donations. Everyone has been so generous, and in some ways this trip planned in just 2 weeks has come together better than my past attempts starting 6-12 months in advance. That's an interesting and really great thing, and pretty much nothing to do with me. We have a good team, a nice mix, and in under 3 hours Joe will be here and we roll!
